I'm Nutts over it, haha  the original Ca black plates ended with the Z prefix 69-70 then came blue with yellow letters. The black plates always reminded me of the muscle cars, grew up back there, very nice.   :2vrolijk_21:

I found out a couple of months ago that CA was offering the retro black and yellow license plates from years ago as well as other past plates so I thought it would look better on my maple bike than the ugly white plates so i ordered. Came in last week and it is actually a very dark brown (always was but looks black) which matches perfect especially since I had Joe paint my Yaffee plate frame a few months ago. Thought I would share.
Very nice. Now, do tell, what does C403VO mean  to you?

I wanted to mention that, as well.  Just thought it was intentional.  I like your ride, brother.

So how does one acquire a retro plate? Just walk into the CA DMV, or Auto Club and ask for one? I assume you have to bring in your current personalized plate?

I think I'll get one!

With all due respect, she's got to get with the program!  After all, I bet her shoes matches her purse, when she's all dressed up.

It looks amazing!
