What mufflers come with 2" baffles?
« on: April 21, 2016, 11:29:15 PM »

Looking for good matches to the Fullsac DX header.  I'm aware of:

H-D SE CVO mufflers w/Fullsac 2" core
Crusher Trident/Slipstream (old style, NOT Maverick, Crusader, etc)

What other offerings are there? Muffler body of 4" preferred.

Rush Big Louie- they can be ordered with various sized baffles including the 2". They are a 4" body.

Frank Drago also sells 4" body mufflers with 2" cores.

Thanks for the response. I thought that was true for Rush, but it wasn't really clear to me after looking at their site. It seems like the selection of slip-ons with a 2" baffle is somewhat sparse, with more available in 2.25-2.5". The Fullsac DX is a solid performer, but I feel a bit limited in my choice of mufflers to run on it while maintaining an optimal configuration. It's not that I'm ruling out what is available, just trying to understand my options. I'd prefer not to re-core my OEM mufflers as I'd like to be able to return the bike to stock form should I desire to do so. Right now that has me leaning towards the Crushers...but at the same time considering taking a second look at header choice. Perhaps the FuelMoto Jackpot 2-1-2 might be a good match for mufflers with 2.25-2.5" baffles (just a guess as it re-uses the more restrictive H-D stock crossover).

I believe the Fullsac sport pipe is a stock decatted head pipe. He has 3 models of pipes. I may be confused on which model is a stock decatted pipe though.

Do what I did, purchase a set of CVO take off mufflers and modify them with the Fullsac baffles - thereby keeping your stock mufflers, well, stock, so if the need or desire arises they can be put back on. I of course aslo still have the O.E. headpipe sitting on a shelf in the garage - just in case. With the TTS tuner I could return everything to stock if I ever need to.

Klock Works "super savers" also have a 2" louvered spiral core. They are 1 pc, and do not use end caps. VERY resonable pricing. I have
some on an older build, no issues.

The new Fullsac "4.0 Slash" is available now with your choice of 1.75, 2.0 and 2.25 baffles. Packing sleeves are optional for additional smoothness.
They will be in the website shortly!  :bananarock: :2vrolijk_21:

Just for the record, they are quieter, tunable, and offer more performance than the Crushers.

NICE!
I liked the quick taper to a full 4" at the inlet. What did you decide with the end caps?

Wanted to get to 4.0 asap to get as much internal volume as possible. Slash baffles to match the the can, almost flush to the end. This is the key to getting rid of the full face helmet drone.
