Different piston choices for the 117" kit
« on: May 20, 2016, 07:27:26 AM »

I am really interested in the 117" kit. I've heard several people comment that the compression sweet spot for the 259 cams is higher than what the kit offers. Would it be beneficial to put in these pistons, or some others that offer higher than 9.9:1? http://www.sscycle.com/product/2007-Up-Twin-Cam-96-103-110-/Top-End/Cylinders-amp-Pistons/Pistons-for-Harley-Davidson-CVO-110-Engines-p25715.html

I just want to make sure the parts work well together. It would be great if the higher compression helps to keep some of the low end grunt while also getting more carry to the right side.

Thank you!

Those are 4" bore, the 117" kit is 4.125.
I have 4cc domes in stock and can have any others made easily by CP
