trailering with a FOB
« on: May 30, 2016, 03:31:03 PM »

So I have an 08 cvo Springer but no owners manual can someone tell how to disarm the alarm so I don't have to leave a FOB in the trailer or on the floor of my truck bed while transporting the bike ?

Enter 'transport mode' as follows:

Turn IGN key to ON and set OFF/RUN switch to OFF
Turn IGN key to ACC
Press both turn signal switches.  Turn signals will flash once.
Turn IGN to OFF.  The system responds with 3 turn signal flashes

Exit 'transport mods' as follows:

With FOB present turn IGN to ON
Set OFF/RUN switch to RUN to exit transport mode

In transport mode the security system still functions in that the bike will not crank but the alarm (flashing turn signals and siren if so equipped) will be deactivated.
