Muffler advice
« on: July 10, 2016, 10:02:30 AM »

I have a 2014 CV0 softail deluxe. Of course the first thing I did was to remove the stock mufflers and put on Vance and Hines slip ons.
I am not happy with the muffler sound.  :'( It seems too loud with cracking and popping (not back firing).
I would like a deeper rumbling sound similar to the sound I had on my ultra.
Would the Harley Screamin Eagle slip-ons give me is sound closer to what I am looking for, without the loud cracking sound?
I am not into "loud" any more.
Any other companies make pipes with the sound that I am looking for?
Thanks for your help!!

Save yourself some money.  Put your stock mufflers back on and get a pair of Fullsac 1.75 baffles.  Deep, throaty Harley sound but not to loud.  :2vrolijk_21:

I thought Fullsac only offered baffles for touring mufflers. :nixweiss:
