Hi Jim, welcome from the Tar Heel state. I'm not far away in Greensboro and ride that way quite a bit. Want to come up to Roanoke and go north on the parkway. Let me know we can hook up. I would recommend the WVa ride and the GTG in Maggie Valley. I played some college football with a guy from your neck of the woods at Lenoir Rhyne in Hickory.

Sounds good. I've ridden all over SW Virginia, NC and TN. So many roads yet to find/ride and navy to revisit. Pm me when you have the notion.

Is it within the 100 mile fuel range on your bike?  ;) Joe just did that Alaska trip so he's used to running long stretches. :huepfenlol2:

Joe, you and Big Lew (aka, another Mike) would have fun riding. He's a good guy that won't steer ya wrong. Just don't pay attention to all that extra engine stuff on his bike. It's hell on fuel economy.

Welcome, from the clear lakes and the twisty roads of the mountains of Northwest Arkansas!

Congratulations on your new CVO, and we're glad to have you with us on the web's best forum for CVO owners!

I hope you'll check out the threads regarding our CVO Harley Get-Togethers (GTG's).  We always have a great time at these events, and it's an excellent way to put faces with names and make new friends!
We have annual GTG's in California, the Smokies (Sept '16), and in the middle of the country at Eureka Springs, Arkansas (June '17).  Please search the site to find out more information or PM me and I'll be happy to tell you about the Eureka Springs event.  Or, visit the "Events" section on the forum.
We encourage you to participate if you can make it!

I have not been to that one.  I often ride through FG on my way somewhere, but come lunch or dinner, I'm somewhere else.

Can't wait to meet him!  Oooh, extra engine stuff!  This should be interesting...
