Do the 2016 CVO Touring Bikes still use the SE 255 Cams?

I know in the past that is the cam they used, just wondering if they changed it up? I think I read that they use something different? I tried searching but you search for CVO and cam shaft, there is just too much info there to sort through

Every CVO110 engine sold to the public has come with the SE255 cams.  That statement is accurate as of 6:44 pm Central Daylight Saving Time, July 9, 2016.

Well......not completely true.  Lets just say they are supposed to come with 255's but chit happens.  I just had the 117 kit installed in my 16 FLHXSE and it had HO 103 cams installed from the factory.  All I can say it WTF

I was thinking of doing a cam upgrade, came awfully close actually but since people rave about the 255, I wonder if my seat of the pants dyno would even know that I did the work? I just removed the stock exhaust and installed V&H Power Duals on Friday and I was just staring at the cam chest all exposed. I even went as far as borrowing a bolt cutters and popping off the clips for the push rod covers! I had the bike on a lift and couldn't turn the back wheel and feel the push rods so I said screw it and just put the exhaust on. I will do cams (either the Woods 222 or 7H, not certain) over the winter I suspect...we'll see. I went with a Power Vision Tuner, With my limited experience with tuners, I knew I didn't want a "piggy back" tuner and the PV seems pretty user friendly so why not? As a bonus, I live about 5 miles from Fuel Moto so if I have questions, I can ride right over.
Thanks for the replies, I'm not sure what to make of ImBroke's discovery? Now I will always be wondering what I have in there  :nervous: NOT GOOD!

I just got my bike back from pure powersports to have a full exhaust and cams installed I had them put in the woods 222 cams and I'm pretty happy. big difference in power everywhere especially at 3k. this was all done on my 2016 cvo street glide.

I did kuryakyn 24D cams on my 2010 cvo streetglide and I think the 24d produced a smoother power but more of it. I think my 2010 was faster and I never had that one dyno tuned I did it by making changes while riding using a power vision. my 2016 was dyno tuned

2016 stock- 82 hp and 96 tq

Thanks for that, I'd much rather hear from people than look at a piece of paper to know what actually happens.
I'm not crazy about the Power Duals, I want a 2-1 so I plan on a change. Next time I have the exhaust off, I am putting in cams...thanks
