SEEG Primary / Trans Capacities?
« on: September 11, 2016, 05:50:38 PM »

What are the Factory recommended fluid capacities in the primary and transmission on the 05 SEEG ???

Also is it recommended to drain and fill on the side stand or does the bike have to be level??

Want to do a last-minute fluid change and do not have access to a manual...

Thanks,
Ed

Primary is 32 ounces, trans is 20-24 ounces.  I start draining on the jiffy stand to get as much as possible out of the primary, then put the bike up on the center stand to get as much as possible out of the trans.  Then with the bike level I add 24 ounces to the trans, and 32 ounces or just until the lubricant touches the bottom of the clutch spring.  It normally works out that 32 ounces is right on the money.
