No it is not cordless.  Yes there are other corded fixes out there.  But Sena does have a reputation of producing quality communication systems.
The issue I have is my wife rides her Switchback and of course I have the CVO SG with the CB setup.  I am also a ride captain for our riding group comprised at times of up to 20 bikes.  In order to talk to my wife when just the two of us were out I went with the Sena 20S, but when with the group I have to use the CB to communicate with our sweep etc.  I had 2 helmet setups.  Now hopefully this will solve my problems.  According to Sena, if you want to talk on CB you use the PTT button on the bike, while if you want to use the blue tooth you just speak.  Sena is presently looking at a 2-3 week production/delivery window.  I have mine ordered and will report back once it arrives and I test it out.  $129.00

Yes it will be good to see how it does.

Returned it for a refund.  Sound quality was terrible and squelch had to be almost off for it to work.  Going to try the Freewire when it is out.  Sena although slow in responding were excellent on the return but of course I had to pay to send it back.
