California Coast

With the weather being so nice (in the 60's and sunny), I took a ride today to Santa Cruz, then down along the coast to Carmel.  Stopped at The Whole Enchilada for some fried artichokes, and ran into 3 CVO's:  2005 Cherry SEEG, 03 Gold Road King, and an 06 Autumn Haze SEUC!  None of them had heard of the site, so I gave each of them a card.  After lunch, headed down to Carmel.  Stopped at the Mission Inn for a cup of coffee and to sit on the deck overlooking the water, then headed back home.  Overall, a great day for a Sunday in January!

Suzanne & I started that very same way today, but when we got to Los Bano's the wind was very strong and we felt that it might be even worse going over the hill. It probley was real nice over there!

While I don't miss living in Cal (spent 31 years in the SF area) I do miss the great roads and weather.  Carmel Valley Canyon Road is a awesome one , as is Skyline from 92 to Santa Cruz , 84 from 280 to Coast 1  and lots of others.

Many miles of "california dreamin"

Luckily there are lots of good roads out here , now if we could only get better weather....
