Phone not auto connecting via Bluetooth
« on: October 23, 2016, 05:04:24 PM »

It's to my understanding from friends on this forum that when my Galaxy S7 is paired to my 15 CVOSG, it should automatically connect when I start the bike and the phone is in range.
I still have to go into COMM and Bluetooth and select my phone.  Anyone else experienced this or know of a workaround?  Spoke to Ryan Urlacher at Law Abiding Biker and he says the software is just buggy.  I even unpaired the phone and re paired it and no luck...

My 15 pairs with my galaxy S5 as soon as the bike is turned on. Never any issues, maybe you need to have your radio software updated?

My iPhone 7 pairs right away.  Only had to pair it the first time, bike is 17SESG.

My wife's Galaxy S4 pairs right way with her 17 Road Glide Special, she only had to pair it the first time.

Try clearing the phone from your bike totally.  Also clear the bike from the phone totally.  Then try to rear pair.  I do not remember which one asked the phone or the bike, but they usually want a 4 digit or more number from the other device.

That was one of the first things I did.
