2005 SEEG LED upgrade
« on: October 25, 2016, 02:55:22 PM »

After having ridden in Maggie Valley with others that had LEDs, I have realized how invaluable there are. I have decided on the JW Speaker headlight and passing lights and the Custom Dynamics for front/rear turns and brake. Just want to make sure I get everything I need to install all at once. Wondering how many load equalizers are needed (one each front and rear or just one)? How close in color are the Halo Rings to the JWs? And are the bullets on the CVOs the standard size so as to fit CD's bullet style LEDs. Also was looking at the CD Triple Play. Does this replace the load stabilizer or used in addition? Just looking out for pitfalls. What did you use and what do you think?

You will save money if you just call Custom Dynamics and ask them. They are good people and will only sell you what you need.

You should only need one equalizer for the turn signals. . It goes under the seat. . Plugs into the rear light harness.  Easy job. . Stuart

I had a 05 SEEG that I changed over to all LED's and I was unable to get the one equalizer to handle the complete bike. To curtail the fast flash that was created by the front turn signals I had to have a seperate load on the front units. This was 10 years ago, maybe they have a unit that will handle the complete bike now. I still say call CD and ask.

While your at it I did this to my first 3 CVOs    https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/miniature-wedge-base/194-led-bulb-5-smd-led-tower-miniature-wedge-retrofit-car/206/#/attributes/13

All four gauges brought up to the same brightness as the speedo and tach.
