Sitting here on a rainy day being bored, thinking about painting my lower legs black, also wondered how crazy it would look if they were Inferno Orange… Can't imagine ever doing it, but it did cross my mind. Not sure what the part underneath the fairing is called, but I know you can get it and the lower cowbells in Black diamond to match the rest of the black paint, has anybody ever painted the fork lowers versus powder coating them? Any issues with that?

back to painting the fork legs Inferno Orange, the cowbells are already orange the lower fairings are orange… I know craziness now.... but why can the fork legs only be black or chrome? If the colors were reversed on my bike and the orange was on top and a black was on bottom, it would make perfect sense to paint the legs black.

Does anybody have a picture of an inferno orange and black with painted fork legs? In black or orange 🤓

Is anybody handy with a good paint shop program? Can you change my fork legs from chrome to orange, and or chrome or black?

Can't help you. I am changing my lowers to black. But I am buying them from MOCO. A little pricey but it's what I want.

Check into powder coating, may hold up better against chips from those little road rocks.
