Yeah Im pretty sure Steve or someone said the Crushers do well even up to 124 ci. Fullsac doesnt make anything bigger than the DX, but I dont think you need bigger. If you did, Fuel Moto makes a larger diameter XXX headpipe.

Has anyone used these slip ons with a 124" build?  I was pretty set on a boarzilla, but really like the looks of these mufflers.  If so what headpipe did you use as well?  Does fullsac still make a stepped headpipe for big cube motors?

If the mufflers produce as they do on a stock motor I may not be loosing that much over the boarzilla and save a ton of money. Black boarzilla with ghost is in the $1800 range. :smilie_daumenneg:

Fuel Moto XXX you want to stay with a 2-1-2
IMO, other than a Wegner 2:1 D&D is the finest on the open market
Good pricing here too... mention you're a CVO forum member

Thanks for the responses, I totally forgot about the xxx pipe from fuel moto.  I was in touch with ams on the boarzilla and they have been the cheapest I have seen, but still damn exspensive.

I guess I just need to make a decision, performance of the D&D or the looks of the Trident slips.  Also save close to $500 going the full sac or xxx and trident route...

For a balanced look... with a 124 Fuel Moto XXX with Fuel Moto E Series mufflers would be my choice, tunable,  quiet power
Or if you don't want to break down for the D&D 2:1 money
Go this rout, can even get a falsey for a balanced look...http://www.rushracingproducts.com/wrath.html

With a good 2-1-2 and good mufflers, and a good tune, you are going to do just as well as you would with a 2-1.

The D&D or any other good 2-1 isnt automatically the best by default.

Thanks that is helpful.  I am running VH power dual with rineharts now. Pulled 138/144 SAE.  I'm not complaining but always looking for more.  Going to have Doc do a "real" tune, throw a heavy breather on with a new exhaust and see how close we can get to 150/150. I'm only thinking maybe 3-5 hp with a new 2:1 exhaust or just swapping to the crushers.

Which exhaust are you going with ? What cam are you running?

Fueling 630 is the cam.  Still on the fence.  My buddy wants to buy my VH header and Rinehart setup just need to decide.  I found a good deal on a Rush wrath but it is black, think I made my mind up on sticking with chrome.

I'm down to two choices:
Stick with VH header and do the normal crushers with trident tips
Or
Boarzilla with ghost pipe-chrome with back cut tips to match bags.  Will likely do the perforated baffle.  I recently rode with a 103 with fat cat and perforated wrapped and didn't think it was very loud.

Bit the bullet today and ordered the Boarzilla from AMS.  Spoke with Doc this morning and he recommended going with the Boarzilla vs. the VH/Crusher setup.  Thanks for the help.

It was a new open box system on eBay.  Ending up going for around $550...pretty good deal.  I would have been in the running if I was chrome.
