Great idea locating the amp there.   It looks like it's out of the way and now you can easily remove the TP when you want.   :2vrolijk_21:

Thank you for testing it out for us..  I have put mine in the same place; looks and fits great, but I live near Chicago, and it seems that spring will never come..

Picked up the detachable tourpack kit today.. Gonna give this a go next weekend I think.

On the 2011, the bag supports are a bit different.  I don't have it apart yet, but I'm not sure the amp is going to fit nestled into the filler like on that 06.
I think the bag support might end up being in the way.  If so, I'll probably do away with the cruddy hk amp and install a better one in the fairing.

There's an antenna bracket which can be screwed onto the bag support next to where the filler attaches (which is good)
But I'm not sure the filler and the bracket can be attached at the same time (which would be bad)
I'll know more tomorrow.
