Well I've got a slightly different slant on the Advisory Panel / Community. Sure H-D wants to sell things I mean that is what every company is in business for. No secret there. The surveys weren't hard sell like when you are descended upon by a pack of hungry car salesmen / saleswomen when you pull up to a dealership. If you weren't interested you could gloss over that / those sections as I often did.
Whether they gave our opinions all that much weight I have no idea but it was somewhat interesting to at least see what they might possibly be considering. I recall several questions about offering TPMS and whether it would be of interest and how much interest. Now some of the stuff they asked was pure BS imo but there were a few nuggets of interest. I'll miss getting those surveys just to see what's happening and maybe get a laugh (or frown) now and then.
