after buying a new street glide , they wanted , pipes and a few things , HD dealer says can t do anything it will void the waretty

tell your neighbor that if they want to maintain warranty, they can do a stage (1, 2, 3 or 4) upgrade using hd parts, tuning it with the hd tuner and it will retain warranty.

As long as its done within 60 days of purchase, otherwise it wold be 1 yr parts.

Crazy isn't it?  Stage 1 2 3 4 all legal and with full warranty if done in first 60 days.
Wouldn't it be nice if you could just buy it from the factory.
No labor for the install no used cylinders/pistons etc. to sell.
Too bad HD doesn't just offer it up as a factory option. 
Not enough profit in doing it that way...I guess.
