ACR question
« on: June 01, 2017, 12:03:05 PM »

When do the ACR's actually engage? When the run button is pressed or when you hit the starter button?  When I had my trike tuned six months ago, my tuner found that my ACR's were turned off. He turned them back on and I did not have another slow starting problem. After six months, every third of forth start seems as if the ACR's are not engaging. Can they decide to turn themselves off again?? Have a new battery and the starter is only a year old so I am thinking whats up with ACR's.

I just figured out my problem. I had moved my battery to the trunk due to battery box/drive belt clearance about a year ago. Today after removing my seat to check my cable extensions connectors I found my ground cable had worked slightly loose just enough to create an iffy ground at certain temperatures upon cranking. I assume this was throwing everything off for the computer.
