My Infotainment maps were last updated in early 2016, thinking of doing another update. Have not looked to see the version of my maps.  Anyone know what the current version is and when new updates hit the naviextra site?  Ill probably wait till after MV GTG to update just so I don't have a problem before that trip.  Will probably wait till new maps hit the site.

Looks like I'm running MY2016 maps and 2017 is latest on naviextra site.  Probably will not update until MY2018 are available.

Careful. I just went through this "goat rope" with mine and I probably wasted 20 hours. The latest version of the Boombox software will not download the GPS maps. See https://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=113120.0

I did the map update couple days after it came out, No problems. Went thru the first time and really did not take very long. I did read and use the information on this site as a very useful guideline. This was several months ago. I do understand the newest Infotaiment update will not accept the prior update on the maps.   
So do the maps, then the infotainment and all should be good. Easy deal. I would go back to the prior thread on the 2017 Maps and scan thru it, lot of good tips that do work. I am not referring to the one from the last couple weeks, this is from earlier this year for maps.

Since I've already got 2016 maps I'm going to wait till 2018 is available to do a map update.  I saw the thread on the current infotainment software unable to load maps. If that is not fixed by the time I'm ready to load maps, I still have all my previous software updates and will go back to one that works.
