Chicago HD 20% (Gone!)

I logged on to the Chicago HD web page to order some stuff today and it no longer shows a discount. I checked three items and they were all at list. Does anyone know if this is the new policy?

Same here, I was planning on ordering some items yesterday.  I started a thread in the general discussion looking for other sites that give discounts on Harley parts.

DW, Its been like that for a few weeks now. I called up as I am planning on getting some goodies for my SEEG comming in around FEB. They told me they are still 20% off they just cant advertise it. Also checked about getting ext.warranty at 10% off. That is still available with no sales tax! You can call the 800 # to be sure.

Try Hales HD in Mansfield, Ohio or Roeders HD in Sandusky or Monroeville Ohio.  They offer the 20% online discount as well.  Have your part numbers ready!

I wish my local dealership offered anything....  Even if you buy a new bike they offer only a 10% discount on the day of the sale....  Makes it tough to patronize the establisment for more than immediate needs and impluse purchases.

Twolane, I hear you! Its not like there not making anything on the sale. I actually got my dealer to go 15% on HD and aftermarket parts after I let him know I will go to CHD and spend my $5000 there. He is even comming off the price $500 to make up for tax. Of course bike was marked up to $32,500 to begin with.       JR [smiley=beerchug.gif]

Local dealer always gives 10% on everying and if its a big item you may even get 15%.  and one dealer in the area runs 20-25% off sales once or twice a year you just have to plan and wait.

re-tread, At CHD you get ext warranty $1299 and tire and wheel coverage $199 Take 10% off($299). My Dealer was wanting 1549 and CHD is $1348 for both so I'm saving $201 plus NO SALES TAX!!!! For me thats another savings of $111.53 making a total savings of $312.53. If you call CHD ask for Marty in sales. I told him about this site and I know a couple other guys that is going to get theres from him too.  Good luck JR [smiley=laugh.gif]

The 20% discount is still in effect at CHD it just doesn't show up until the final confirmation screen after your credit card info has been entered. http://www.chicagoharley.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/topic.cgi?forum=1&topic=234
