2014 with 22k. What would you do?
« on: August 26, 2017, 10:34:46 AM »

22k on a 2014 cvo limited. No problems. Runs fine. Cross country rider. Two up a lot.

Looking to avoid problems down the road and following the lifter failures. Set of Feuling lifters on shelf (picked up on a sale)

So....Also interested in stock push rods or adjustable (no problem to pull heads)
And if pull heads...should springs or guides be changed
Inner bearings on cams need done?
Just change to different cam then? See some nice ones for stock 110 combo are out.
Or go 117 kit?

No warranty and plan on keeping four more years or till 60k and retirement!  So what moves would you make or recommend?  Thanks in advance

13 and newer got the good cam bearings, but it you change cams, then I would change cam bearings, just because of wear patterns. If you want superb throttle response & a fun ride, the 117 cylinder/piston kit from HD, combined with a TTS150 cam, would fit the bill without breaking the bank.

Just bolt cutter out the old pushrods and use adjustables so for the future, this new internal engine maintenance component is easier to perform.
