According to the HD website the 2017 and 2018 CVO Street Glide has "Dual Exhaust with 4" touring mufflers and shields"

The SG Special has 2-1-2 dual exhaust.

I was lead to believe a 2-1-2 exhaust offers better performance than a true dual system. Am I wrong ?
I would have thought the CVO would get the best performance exhaust Harley has.

All of the HD touring bikes come with 2 into 1 into 2 exhaust. Here is a pic of the 2018 CVO Street Glide clearly showing a 2 into 1 into 2....

I put a Super Trapp 2 into 1 (along with head work and cams) on my '09 bike and it makes good power.
