WHIM and Harley Sena 20s
« on: October 31, 2017, 11:23:46 PM »

after years of claiming I never wanted to be able to answer my phone or listen to my music through helmet speakers while riding I have decided to go for this new bluetooth system. My kids are at the age (all 20 something) that I always think the worst when they call me when they know I am usually riding every weekend and I am tired of having to pull over, stop and take all my sh-- off and call them back.
I will use the WHIM on the 17 and figure I can use either the Garmin 590 or the Kenwood KDC-X998 head unit on my 12 to the Sena.
Couple of questions-dont really intend to listen to music through BT, mostly doing to for the phone so should I connect to Garmin or Kenwood on the 12 (easier to read who is calling on the Garmin)? I assume I can pair both bikes to the Sena like my phone and which ever bike I am on the Sena will automatically connect? I currently have my phone connected to the Kenwood and not the Garmin (I could with that if I decide to connect to Garmin instead of Kenwood), do I keep that connected and also connect Sena?
Obviously this is all new to me so anything else I need to know?
Thanks as always for the help!
