Never did.  Never would.  The bikes might deserve it.  The company surely doesn't.  Companies pay for billboards and my rates would be too high for the bastards to be able to afford me.

Yeah, but that was the point of it. I love Harleys so much, it was for the bike, not the Co.! That Bar and Shield is beautiful, and is the bike to me. Not their corporate copyrighted, trademarked BS! ;) Hoist! 8)

My contrary cynical side always kicked in whenever I was drunk enough to consider it.  As much as I love the machines there has always been too big a part of the company's and too many of the dealer's attitudes that I disliked too much to give them my literal pound of flesh. 

To me it might represent the bikes and the road and the kinship.  But to everyone who hasn't travelled those roads it's a represent for the company.  And they've never earned it.  At least not from me.

Back to the bags. I fitted my '03 RK Hard Bags to the SERK today and they fit fine. Like Don said, you have to readjust the tabs w/ the spring locks, which is no big deal. I didn't bother. It looks really good with Hard Bags. I hope to get them painted in time for the CVO Pick-up Ride trip! Hoist! 8)

    Hoist, I'm sure you will send pics of the bags. Will you have to change the spring locks when changing wbtween hard and soft bags? Billy

Billy, you don't change them, you just loosen the brackets and realign them to match whichever saddle bags you're using. Hoist! 8)
