I bought a used low mile 17 FLHXSE from Cali while it was a very nice bike it wasn't me. It already had V&H power duals(no Cats) 4.5" V&H slip ons, a TTS tuner and a dyno tune. First thin I did was remove the glass packing from the Slip ons. It sounds more like a Harley now.
Next was safety, i added auxiliary lights front and rear and swapped out the turn signals on front with Cycle Dynamic units.
Next was comfort/style 90 percentile male handle bars adios Wild One 14" Chubbies to the rescue. I also added a Corbin Hollywood Solo. and short clamp on HD highway pegs. I used the "airflow" passenger pegs for front pegs.
I now have a custom Le Pera two up seat, passenger floor boards, and chopped tour pack for touring. And in just a few minutes strip it down to the lean and mean bagger street glides are supposed to be.
As soon as the treasury recovers, I want a liner and soft luggage for my tour pack, HD Torque cams and most likely 13" shocks.
I think I just about nailed it.
