I did that tour about 15 years ago...looked through a plexiglass window from what I recall...sort of like the Cape Cod Potato Chip Factory tour in Hyannis...

The Ben & Jerry's tour includes free samples.  That would be reason enough for the ride from Memphis to Vermont.
