Beags

Glad you got it sorted out.  I know mine ran better immediately and I was having difficulty comprehending why yours didn't also.  Wait until you get a chance to ride it.   Better than a new bike.  Enjoy!!

I took it around the block today (after BB rode it home for me),  All I can say is WOW.  Feels like a whole new bike (sound and all).  I'd like the power to come on a little sooner,  but I haven't had it on the freeway yet (just a mile or so around the neighborhood).  The bike feels strong,  good power, TQ when I would expect it.....Over all,  I'm very pleased with the outcome.  Once again,  I want to thank HD-DUDE and Harry (UnBalanced) for all the tech help to make it right.  It looks like the cherry bomb is done (I can't think of anything else that it needs {I've never been one to turn a bike into a christmas tree.....I like the clean and simple look}), and now I can keep up with BB and Hank.

Thanks again to all who helped.........Look forward to seeing y'all soon.

Beags,

You're very welcome!   I am really glad it worked out for you in the end.   Looking forward to the full ride report and that dyno sheet.

I am really glad you let Brian ride it home.  I know its killing you, but let that back heal good before you go and mess around.

Well,
I needed smokes and went down to the local store on the bike (maybe 20 miles or so.........yeah...yeah...took the long way), and I have to say that  it runs good.  Different bike than I'm used too,   but pulls good and keeps on pulling.   The pipes are different from anything I've ridden in 8 or so years,    but the cams DO work.  I'd like a little more pull down low,  but as we all know,   you can't have both.  Power is where I like it,  need to learn to shift faster (No problem, I'm young....I'll adjust).  But all in all,  best bang for the buck I've spent.   Thanks again to Harry (I hope your feeling better) and to Jim for all the tech support!!!

All the best!!!

From your first conversation with me when you told me that you had the work done and you were ready to kill someone to now being satisfied with your mods is a good thing. Glad it all worked out for you Bro. Have fun with it and give BB a run for his money now.  :bananarock: Later,Q

Hey Matt,
Glad to hear you're back in the saddle again, at least on the  :cherry: bomb!  :2vrolijk_21: Probably too soon after the surgery to get you up here for the NORCAL run up to Ft. Bragg, but we'll get together sometime. Take it easy on the recoup and therapy. You'll enjoy the new TQ band!
