funny you should ask. I have a complete kit and a buddy just a few hours ago asked if He needs a special tool to do connections on his SG. The kit I have is a Delphi-Packard and came with the plies and release tools. Mine are more the Deutsch style like what HD uses. Here's a pix very similar to the pair that came in my kit. Mine are blue though which we all know if the fast color.  :2vrolijk_21:

It's been 4 years since I bought that kit so I really don't remember. A quick check on ebay shows a few different one and most of them are overseas. Starting price seems to be around $25. You may be able to use a normal pair of crimp pliers if you have them laying around for the regular plastic connectors. If you have a good electrical supply house close to you, they may carry them there as well. If you're not in a huge hurry, I can mail you mine and you can mail them back when done. Earliest I can possibly get them in the mail would be Monday though.

Thanx for offer of sending me them.  I will prolly just install the lite then take down to dealer and have them install the pins.  I only have 3 pins to do.

I bought a ratcheting tool for making custom length spark plug wires.  It has replaceable jaws to do the Deutsch pins among others.  Bought it from Jegs a long time ago.  You can buy the male and female Deutsch pins plus the housings anywhere, they don't need to come from the dealer.

Went to help a buddy yesterday. He actually had a set that looked like they came from Home Depot, Lowe's or even possibly Harbor freight.

Sent from my boring Droid phone.
