I have a totally stock (engine wise) 07 FLTRI and brought the bike in for the new download about a month ago.  The only difference I have noticed, was the ability to up shift  at slightly lower rpms without lugging.  The bike was too new when I did it to get an accurate take on changes in gas mileage.

The change is subtle so don't expect to feel a big difference. Remembers they call it a "torque smoothing mod"

So did I which at least tells me that the whatchamacallit in my ECM did not send a report to the MoCo that LD had been SERTified and Screamin Eagled.

B B
Second that SERTified and D&D out of crate before the Bulletin came out. I guess the bulletin police are after me ;D

Guys,
I have a friend that got the same recall. It was about timing at start up. His clutch began to act up at 600 miles. when he took it in and they told him the new starting system had died. It had been kicking back at start up and had broken teeth off the starter drive and the drive gear. These teeth were in the clutch and keeping it from releasing. The problem is supposed to be fixed with the ecm change, and all new parts in the primary! Needless to say he is not a happy new bike owner.
