portable stand

built this around 15yrs ago when i used to ride nortons, seems to work well for harleys too. and very stable.

Those simple lever stands are great. They want a small fortune for them when I've seen the advertised. I'm guessing that you use some sort of rubber pad between the jack and the frame?

...i don't use any protection....i have thought about several things, a pvc sleeve has always come to mind.

Remember when sex was safe and motorcycling wasn’t?  An old bicycle tire works well for protection.

This lift can also be made from an old FL model Engine Guard if it's not twisted up too bad; and it’s chrome!!
