CONSOLE WASHER ON '07 SERK

Could the MOCO have made the screw and washer any cheaper looking on these bikes.  Well, yes.  They could have made it a slot or phillips screw instead of an allen I guess.  It doesn't look like the "BULLSEYE" CONSOLE WASHER will work because of the raised surface and ridge that runs down the length of the console.  What have folks done to remedy this problem.  Looking for advice!

I went with the bullseye washer for now. I think that the washer is thick enough to taper the inside center so it will conform. I will post pic when I have a chance to get to the machine shop.

Howie has bought a billet clock to put here, but according to him it is slightly raised at the sides because of the shape of the dashinator.

I can't find the picture he posted, but maybe he'll shoot in and find it. This was the link to the company who supply them.

I have used a bolt from the "Bar & Shield" Logo License Plate Mounting Hardware Kit. PN #94114-02. Looks very nice.

I saw that bolt on the console of a bike a couple of weeks ago and have been trying to find out where he got it ever since...it does look sharp there.  Thanks for the heads up!

As usual, I appreciate the input.  It is amazing that the MOCO has us all trained to buy their mess and then buy more stuff from them to clean up the mess and on a $28,495 plus bike.  I'll be watching for the pics!

Here's that clock. I'm happy with it. It has a nice billet enclosure. It is very slightly raised at the edges because ot the ridge in the dash panel, but barely noticable. Here's a pic of it on my bike. Hoist! 8)

It's really simple Phase. The clock prys out of the billet base. The base screws onto the console with the console screw. Pop the clock back in and you're done. Hoist! 8)

The deed is done!  The clock should be on the way from stock.  I got the one with the alarm that tells you when it's time to spend more money on your bike.   ;D
