HELP!!! Need High Flow Air on 07 SE/UC
« on: April 22, 2007, 10:07:24 PM »

I purchased a 07 FLHTCUSE2 this winter and it does not come with high flow air.  I already put a PCIII and V&H duals.  I know it has been discussed on this site before but I can not find the information I need.   I want to put High Flow air on my Ultra but the dealer says Harley does not make the parts to use my stock air cover.  I priced the SE Road King air cover and it is over $300.00.

If you know the part numbers I need to use the stock 07 CVO Ultra cover I would love to have it.

Thanks

Ue the Zippers High Flo, comes with a 2.75" filter. Use the chromed Harley TB intake side, and you kinda have the roll your own with some airflow to boot.

Here is a photo of the chrome backplate from Arlen Ness as part of the Big Sucker kit on a stock 2006 air cleaner cover.

I have the Arlen Ness Stage 1 and it uses the stock cover.  Believe the Ness stage 2 and the zippers big filter needs its own cover

Whatever filter you go with on the backplate assembly, if it's the same diameter as the K&N 0800 or harley SE filter (which is a piece of chit), the stock cover will fit, regardless of what the harley dealer says. You can put a spacer washer, a gasket as mentioned in the "roll your own" thread.  It will work....many of us have been running various combos of backplates/filters ( I have a Doherty Power Pacc on mine) with the stock cover.
