Monroe max air shocks

I’ve read online about some people using Monroe max air shocks MA785 for their rear suspension. Has anyone here done that? If so, how did you go about it? The MA785 shock lower opening is 5/8” and the upper is 7/16”. I have a ‘01 SERG and both my bolts are 1/2”. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
