TC 113" Question
« on: June 24, 2007, 04:59:21 PM »

Does anyone know if the "Bigger Bore", 4.060 SE Pro Cylinder Kit and matching Stroker Pistons, match the cases of the TC 110"? Do they have the same case cylinder bore size as the stock 110" cylinders, or is machining of the cases required, even on a 110" engine? I thought they might be bolt-in, like going from 88" to 95" or 96" to 103". I was hoping this was a bolt-on mod for a 110" engine. ::) TIA. Hoist! 8)

howie, they may be the same

Screamin' Eagle® Case Boring Tool

The Screamin' Eagle® Case Boring Tool takes the guesswork out of boring Twin Cam engine cases to accept oversize cylinders. Designed to be used with a heavy-duty 15" drill press or milling machine, the fixture holds and aligns the cases for accurate machining. Ideal for installing a new '07 Twin Cam 110 cubic inch Stage Kit or a '99-'06 race-use "bigger bore" 113 cubic inch stroker cylinders.

 94419-06

not clearyly evident from the tool descriptions though

Yeah Neal, is it one size bore or is the tool made for both bores? Interesting! We need to confirm 110" and 113" cylinder spigot sizes. Hmmm... Hoist! 8)

The 4.060” bore requires a larger diameter spigot hole in the crankcase than the 4.000” bore 110’s have. H-D uses a cylinder base o-ring in the 110; there is no room for the o-ring in the 113” machines.

As always, thanks again dj! :2vrolijk_21: I thought I might have discovered some small bolt-on upgrade that's been kept secret. Oh well. For now, it stays 110"! ;) Hoist! 8)

That's ok.  It saves having to bore out the warranty and look for oversize pages to fill it.

Now you know that if I did that, it wouldn't be to only make it 113" don't you Brian? ::) Hoist! 8)

Howie, there is a speed shop not far from you  in Zieglerville, Pa (Philadelphia) called AMERICAN CLASSIC MOTORS
They have done a couple of these Harley 113 kits. I've bought stuff from them before. Very helpful!

Thanks for the heads-up Casey. This started with a leaking head gasket. A little hot rod top end work and cams while I'm there, for now. I thought those barrels might be bolt-on, but they're not. Not touching the cases or bottom end right now. A little magic on the top end should help a lot though! ;) Hoist! 8)

Strictly FWIW, there is a thread current within just the last week or so that was pretty heavily disgusted with a company of the same name.
