Just my own tribute derby cover on the 07 SE-Springer

My buddy, who has painted my last few bikes, just did this cover for me
He was annoyed that there was nothing to paint on a CVO bike !!
Willie G will be here in Ohio at the AMA Vintage days - I hope to get him to sign the bike if I can
He signed a '87 FXR show bike for me in Daytona at the HD Ride in Show

His signature can be had if your diligent enough.

This is the tank from my 05 RK Custom. traded it in on my serk.  couldn't part with the tank.  took too much work to get 4 signatures.

 my wifes 05 sefatboy has all 4 sigs also.    gets a lot of attention

Wow!
I've seen a lot of bike with famous sigs' but never all four of those ! that's pretty cool. Neat that they are still out there working and helping out. Certainly rich enough to sit home and count $$

Excuse my ignorance but how come those signatures dont come off when you was the bike?Are they signed with a special pen?If so whats the model or brand? :drink:

Beerman, carry a small bottle of rubbing alcohol with you.

I rubbed our tanks down prior to getting the sigs, to take off any wax.

the tanks were signed with a sharpie.(permanent ink pen) Willy G carrys one with him, but I took my own in case.

took both tanks to a painter friend who tested the ink, then clearcoated both tanks.

Really nice Derby cover beerman. You should send a picture of it to Indian Larry Legacy. I'm sure Paul and the others will appreciate it! Hoist! 8)

Very nice work on the derby cover - really intricate detail for airbrush - your artist friend is good!
