According to Wine-Searcher, a bottle of Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon retails for an average $3,800, making it the third most expensive Napa Valley wine.

Why am I not surprised by the price? 😂 This article does offer five lesser priced alternatives, however. Has anyone tried any of these?

I'm not so sure it's coveted.  But I think they are trying to appeal to a "higher level" of aficionado, not unlike the motorcycles we ride.
