Fuel economy is directly related to the amount of twist to the wrist, and when you put these cams in the wrist seems to twist more :nixweiss:

Seriously I did not notice any difference in economy on the hiway with normal riding.....
Don't know about any long freeway hauls yet but I've run two tanks of fuel since Jim did my FCC 14 cams and I'm getting right around 148-150 miles to the tank.  Down just a little.......but it's a sacrafice that I'm o.K. with it, for the trade off in power and especially torque. :nixweiss:

It was good Harry.  Thanks.  Beautiful spring day with broken clouds and temps in the 60s.  Many bugs shoved their heads out their rears to supply me with a little happiness this afternoon and this evening.

I had the harley dealership install the forged 103 aluminum pistons p/n 22483-04 which gives the engine 10:5 to 1 compression ratio when used with the sceaming eagle pro heads p/n 17071-03B and the SE 255 cam .550 lift which has good low end and mid range torque. I am using a D&D  2-1 fat cat for a exhaust system. The engine has only 100 miles on it right now and I can hardley wait to get it broke so I can see how it runs.
