New training dates for Ride Like a Pro
« on: May 01, 2007, 09:58:16 PM »

For those of you who are interested, I have some new training dates for Ride Like a Pro West Coast.

May
Saturday the 5th (three slots)
Saturday the 19th (four slots open)

June
Sunday the 3rd (one slot open)
Saturday the 9th (four slots open)
Sunday the 10th (four slots open)

July
Saturday the 7th (six slots open)
Sunday the 8th (six slots open)
Saturday the 28th (six slots open)
Sunday the 29th (six slots open)

August
Saturday the 4th (six slots open)
Sunday the 5th (six slots open)

The cost is $125.00. Classes are held rain or shine, start at 12:00pm, and finish about 4:00pm. There is a limit of six riders per class. This allows students more riding time.

If you are interested in attending please let me know the dates. Your payment will hold a spot for you in class. You can reschedule at any time, as long as there is an opening on the date you would like. There is a $25.00 fee if you cancel less than two weeks before your scheduled class. Once I have you down in a specific class, I will e-mail you additional class information, as well as directions to the high school.

This Sunday, May 6th, I will be at LA Harley for their Lady Riders Expo. I’ll be doing some demos, so please drop by if you can.

Thanks,
Mark

Thank you. Fla is just a bit outside of my backyard but could be possible during a bikeweek. :2vrolijk_21:

Not sure if there are any others closer to you.  Advanced rider courses are available in lots of areas.

Jerry is in Tampa.

A lot of folks do just that.
They plan a run to Florida, and schedule it when Jerry and Donna are holding their classes.

That's what I like to hear. Folks practicing and improving their skills and abilities. It never ceases to amaze me that riders will spend thousands of dollars to improve their bikes, make 'em go faster, stop quicker, handle better, and look and sound great. Then they'll spend a thousand dollars or more on leathers, boots, and helmets. But when it comes to buying a dvd, or taking a class that will improve them, well they back away and have second thoughts about it.

One of the things I get a kick out of are the veteran riders who come to just see what it's about, and not really expecting to learn anything new, or expecting anything difficult. Less than 15 mins into the class these are the same ones who are struggling with trying to learn new techniques while getting rid of old bad habits.

Keep up the good work and practice.
