Hey everyone...good news!  Not only did the dealer install my master cylindar seal kit (and no more leaking), but I was able to find a SERT today after calling 17 dealerships...thats right, 37.  They got 10 in yesterday and I called them at just the right moment when they had 1 left.  So, tomorrow I have an appointment to get the SERT and V&H slip on's installed.  Should I get the HD-800 a/c installed?  Or, is my factory filter ok?  Since my bike is a SERK, it should already have a high flow filter on right?  But, is the K&N upgrade worth it?  Thanks everyone...I appreciate your input!

I would go ahead and get the KN element at the same time. If they are going to use a canned map nad not dyno the bike then you should be ok with what's in there.

Either way you should have the new element in before paying for a dyno tune.

Actually, they are going to do a dyno.  So, first thing in the morning, I will get the K&N as well.  The part# is HD-800 right?  Thanks

None!!    Oh, do you think slip-ons is the way to go, or should I go ahead and get true duals?  I am not sure about this but I want to do it the right way....so, what do you think?

IMO, it depends on what you are looking for.  If you want to improve the sound, looks, and get some performance advantage slip ons will do the trick.  If you want all those things and even more performance go with the true duals.  If you want all those things and the most performance go with a good 2 to 1 exhaust.  I personally don't like the looks of the 2 to 1, but thats me, others love them.

Since your getting the SERT, I would say you should at least get a set of true duals.  That will allow your tuner to dial in each cylinder.

There are a few hundred guys (and gals) on here that are much smarter about this stuff than me.  You can always PM Silver-Black, Twolane, Fired00d, and so on, and get their thoughts.
