Twolane - I know your seat must look awesome in person - your avatar on the other hand reminded me of something and this morning I finally discovered what it was...Jar Jar Binks of Star Wars fame.

That's weirder than even I'd have thought of  ??? .

What kind of a critter was JarJar anyway?  Maybe it's not ostrich skin but his?

Very Nice indeed.  That begs the question regarding durability of the Corbin "specialty leathers"  I realize you guys have had your Corbins for a while does the "skin" type leathers actually press out as fast as they say?  I was interested in the Ost, Shark or Gator what is your expert opinions.  Can you actually get a look at the seat with different color leather on it...I cant seem to imagine what it would look like with various colors?

Given how well it's broken in and the wear/character that it shows I'd guess my tan ostrich seat has 20-25k miles.  After it got cleaned up there are no signs of deterioration in it at all.  MrsWe says hers was starting to show some fading/wear but a thorough clean and some careful artwork with a stain touch up pen gave it new life.  Her saddle has a lot more miles on it though.

Good looking seats Don.  And it looks like you two were treated well.  It is an interesting experience, isn't it.  You two will be able to ride for long hours in comfort and from my own personal experience, I think that you'll find it easier on your back, too.

On a side note......you two missed one hell of a ride this weekend.  I forgot my camera but some of the others will be posting photos, I'm sure.
