Champion reverse

Anyone have experience w/ the Champion brand reverse? Looking pretty hard at a ride on Ebay that's got it.

We have put them on some of the Trikes we build. Works fine but you must use it in the correct way.

Put bike in nutral, than pull in clutch and pull their lever up to get into reverse.

move bike backwards, than push their lever down and get bike back into nutural.

Now you can put it in first and off you go.

If you do not do the nutral light each time and leave it in gear and move their lever up, you will rip out all the gears......

That's the same procedere that is used on the 1500 Goldwing for reverse. except the part about riping the gears out the bike shuts off if you do that. ;D

Honda has a great system to "save" the bike if you screw up.......

We have have four come back due to the wrong use.........

To fix, they need to buy the gears and new cover.
