Got the call

I received a call from Whitt's HD in Manassas VA the other day, they tell me the factory told them my FLHTCUSE2 is due June 15th. I will go by there in the next few days to order the pipes, PCIII and AC so they can install before I pick it up. I sold the 02 Roadking on May 2nd and the wife won't ride the Big Dog chopper, so I haven't been doing much riding lately. I think the wife is more anxious about the CUSE than I am, if that's possible. Didn't think the Roadking would sell so quick. Oh well, it still seems like a long time to wait. Thanks to this site I have a very long list of wants, but that's like every HD I have owned, you are never finished adding stuff unless you sell it. Haven't been on the site much since I don't have the CVO yet, but will let you know when they complete the add-ons and it's ready for pickup. Hope to see some fellow Va's on the road some time and thanks for all the help.

Congrats on the delivery date announcement...when it gets closer, if you decide to pick it up on a Saturday, let me know and I'll come up and meet you and we can do some break-in riding.  Always great to see a proud papa pick up his new baby.

Great to hear you're going to be back in the wind.  It'll be a rush the first time you twist that 110.  ;)  Hope you and bride have a good run out towards the mountains...you two deserve a good run and have earned it.

Thanks everyone. Good to hear from the VA gang. RedDevil,TCinVA and Fired00d, will let you all know when the pickup date is confirmed. I'm not sure how long they need to install the extras but will keep you posted. I'm ready for pickup/break-in ride. TC, glad to hear you are able to ride now.

You are welcome to stay over if you make it to this part of VA. just give me a call or a PM. I'm going by the dealer on the 29th to order pipes, etc. Hope to have it on the road ASAP. Just remember this is a rural part of VA, I live on a gravel road and my driveway is 350 ft up a ridge, also gravel. Going up it is easy, but like my wife says , going down takes skill. ;)
