Travel Bag for Tour Pack Rack
« on: June 04, 2007, 02:52:18 PM »

Has anybody found a bag that is made to fit the Tour Pack Rack on the SE Ultra's?  Harley had the larger bags that velcro'd on the large rack put on regular fiber-glass tour packs, but with the smaller leather tour packs and the smaller tour pack rack, I need to find something to fit the SE rack for traveling.    Thanks!    JMACK

SAC make a bag called the Rack Half SAC - I got the leather one for $179.95 but the Nylon one is 79.95 I tihnk.
     Leather (310-hsd200xl)
     Fits Contoured Tour-Pak Luggage Rack
     Unit Price: $179.95

I understand SAC has the Half Sac that fits nicely. Although a pack small enough to fit nicely also limits it's unsability. For our recent trip to DC, I used the same Eddie Bauer duffel I used on the King Tour Pak of the old bike. It pretty much swallowed up the rack like a thong on the wrong person, but it worked out quite well.

I paid $150 for the leather one and it is designed for our rack.

The DEKKER SUPREME, is a great bag.  It quickly attaches to the luggage rack on each corner, no bungees required.  Has a built in rain cover, that works.
