Hawg Wired - Made a run to Hayward yesterday!
« on: February 14, 2008, 07:06:40 PM »

I had the pleasure of meeting HD_Dude (Jim) and see what was going on at Metal Dragon. Jim sold me on the 4 channel HW system with the component speackers. Wow, what a difference. he pulled out the Hog Tunes and factory amp and in short order had me on my way.  :pepper:

I have to say I have never had anyone take as good of care of my bike as they would their own untill now.  :2vrolijk_21:

And he didn't even charge me extra to watch!  8)

Thanks again Jim. And anyone it the Sac area that wants to take a listen is more than welcome.

Jim's a brother and a real standup dude!!! You don't need to be in CA to deal with him. He hooks me up with what he can help me with. And tells me to stay local when he knows I can do better. I bought all my electronics from him months ago. Maybe they'll get installed soon. I know if I have a question or problem, Jim will be there for me! Don't think twice about getting your chit from him. As a matter of fact, go out of your way to do so!!! :2vrolijk_21:

I'm thinking Jim will see this....Do I need to add a amp when I add Hog Tunes speakers to my fairing lowers...on my 06 street glide with HK sound system ? Already have Hog Tunes in main fairing you installed. What is price of lower speakers and amp if I need it. You don't have those speakers or that kit on your site yet ....I guess. Jim, I guess I could call you .....but I'd never get past a 100 posts that way   :P  :huepfenlol2:  :nixweiss:

Funny, What I care about most is attitude and caring. Jim has both of those nailed down. As a small biz owner I want to find my kind. Win, Win!  :orange:

Hey Coyote did you check out the stealth chrome that Jim has when you were there ?  I must have just missed you, I left back for Stockton about 3:00. I saw it on a different thread and it looked  like something I'll get after I improve my sound system. see ya later. I agree you just don't get any better service and advise than what Jim offers. You said it WIN WIN.  :2vrolijk_21:

John;
 1st of all is Hawg-Wired not Hog-tunes ;D Different animal all together....For the Street Glide you can run a second set of speakers directly from the deck but they would need to be 2 ohm and HW does not make them or a mount kit. The kit they have is only for thier speakers. So that leaves you needing the 4 channel amp and 4 new speakers.

And yes our website is extremely lacking in all of the stuff we have to offer. I just do not have any time to get it updated :-\

Post away, before you know it you'll be there (100 that is) :huepfenlol2:
