ANYONE RUNNING HOOKERS ON SERK
« on: June 30, 2007, 10:45:07 AM »

Am looking for nice loud set of pipes for my 07 SERK.  Any recommendations? Is anyone using the Hookers on their 07?  If so would appreciate you letting me know what you think of the performance, sound and whether you needed a Power Commander or Race Tuner, Etc.

I have Vance & Hines Big Shot Duals with Thunder Monster Baffles on my SERK.  It is loud, but not so loud as to hurt my ears.

I had a set of true dual tunable's on my '06 RK with a SERT, loved the sound. But, I have not heard of anyone having them on a SERK yet, not sure if it is a performance issue, or they don't meet the "COOL" factor.  :nixweiss:
Still running stock pipes b/c of warranty issues the past 11.5 months.

Interesting look on those headpipes cvofb. They look cool with the A/C! How's your bike holding up? Bike looks great man! ;) Hoist! 8)

That is. I didn't notice that first time I looked. The way the pipe comes off the front jug and wraps around to the other side is really different.

cvofatboy do you get much heat off the pipe on your right leg?

the bike runs great. the heat off the right pipe doesn't bother me and its not any worse than stock. i get alot of heat off the left pipe though because it's a little higher than stock.
