I have an '04 SEEG and would like to install HD (part #69462-06A) Aux Running Light/Brake Light/Turn Signal Conversion Kit-Bullet Lens Stlye.  The company states that this does not meet DOT requirements on my bike.  I am not worried about what the DOT has to say, I would like to know whether or not this kit will work on my bike.  Has anyone tried it??

Secondly, if (as I hope) this does work, has anyone also incorporated the saddle bag spoiler lights into this system?  If so, would they be so kind as to walk me thought the steps to do so.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

I have not added them to mine, but others here have. The reason for the DOT warning is because the lights are so close to brake light that from far away it appears as one light. I'm sure some of those that have added will post there recommendations.

It will work with the saddlebag lights and the included instructions are detailed, with pictures.

STONE, see this thread for photos of my installation of the brake light module: http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=8926.msg134828#msg134828

You'll have to excuse some of the missing text in the posts in that thread.  The thread was started before we changed over to a new software here on the site and some of the text was lost in the conversion, but the photos are there.  There is also some discussion about the DOT warning, which as Gary stated, is due to the close placement of the turn signals to the brake light on the SEEG, but it hasn't been an issue for me yet.

As far as using in conjunction with the saddlebag spoilers, I have not done that yet, so someone else will have to comment there.

Thanks, Duane.  I've got the spoilers, just haven't installed them yet.  I do not remember the instructions for the brake module talking about the spoilers.  Was it there, or do the instructions for the spoilers discuss how to incorporate them with the brake module?

If something confuses your or doesn't make sense you can go here - saddlebag spoiler lights, which is the thread/post on the old site to see what may be missing.

:nixweiss: How do you expect to keep up with Hubbard without the spoilers  :nixweiss:

No, with the spoilers, just plug and play.

Forget to mention, wired to factory specs, the spoilers lights are running and brake only, no turn.
