has anyone ever used the fairing mounted mirrors and if so how do they hold up under all the vibration  of 100 h.p.

I really like the way they look, in fact I recently almost bought a set.  That though was before I sat on a dresser at my dealers showroom, which had the mirrors already installed.  I couldn't seem to get them adjusted to where I like them.  I'm 6'2", therefore this problem might not  be one for others.

I also like the looks of the fairing mount mirrors and have ridden several bikes with them installed.  Downside......you get a great rear view of your knuckles and not much else.

HarleyGirl,

I had them on my 03 Ultra Classic.   I am 6'3 and loved them because I could see more than just my shoulders which is the view I used to get with the handlebar mounted mirrors.   In my case I never had an issue with the fairing mounted ones with any of my motors 88, 95, 103 and finally the 124.   Every motor I had was over 100 hp and the last was almost 140 and I never had a single issue.  If I find any pictures of the ole sleeper I will post ya one.

Highly recommend them.

I've had 'em on both my dressers ('02 EG Classic and '04 SEEG).  They have their plusses and minuses.  I love the way they look, but on the '04 SEEG, the view (what you could see behind you) was better with the stock mirrors.  No issues whatsoever with vibration, though.

Are you thinking of putting some on your Fatboy? [smiley=confused.gif]

I figured you must also own an Electra Glide of some kind.  Just teasin' with ya! [smiley=beerchug.gif]

You can look in my gallery album for photos of them on a B/B if you're interested.  Mine are just the plain black plastic and, while I think they look just fine, another guy on here, Darrelh, has his painted starlight black.  Photos of his were on here somewhere until the site got hacked.  Maybe he'll see this and repost them.  They looked great!

They were fantastic on my Ultra Classic, its hard to see anything behind you with the stock mirrors. Mirrors on the SE work great for me,I won't change what I got.

I love mine. Much better than stock mirrors.
