Ok guys, gals,
In two weeks I get the new tranny case and new cylinders put in.  Should I invest in chrome inner primary and all the chrome hardware?
Would you use the chrome hardware from HD or aftermarket?  The good side of this warranty work is parts get installed at no labor.

Thanks :orange: :bananarock: :cucumber: :jalapeno: :carrot:

I would go with aftermarket replacement bolts.   Harley's tend to rust quickly.   I would say yes for the chrome inner primary and other goodies.

Oh, did you really mean to ask that around here?? :confused5: Of course go for the chrome inner primary. I know it doesn't matter as much w/your bike as it did w/mine, but if they'll install the chrome starter along w/all the other stuff w/no labor charge may as well go for that too.

Sorry dood, it's OCD time.  Maybe it will make me feel better about the motor situation, but I hate right now to give any more $$$$$$$$$ to the MOCO.  I'll go the inner primary on their labor, that'll teach them.   I'll ask if the dealer will get the aftermarket dress up kits and install for me.

polished Stainless is my thought.... The chrome always holds water on the air filter side with the bike on the stand and rust majically appears.

What do you think, polished stainless?

i like the stainless as well. the chrome will even rust where the allen fits when torquing the fasteners.
