Ignition switch nightmare

I have an intermittent issue with my switch. About once a week my tach and speedo go out, I stop jiggle it and off I go for another week. I have been unable to produce it for the dealer. Can I fix it myself? Does anyone know what the juice is?

If it was me just replace the switch and be done with it  ...

Same thing happened to me on my '03 SE Duece....at a rest stop on the interstate, the bike would not start.  After a lot of on and offs, the bike did light up.  I had the dealer change the ignition switch.  Get 'er done or you will be eventually stranded, propably at the wrong place, wrong time.

Log on to the HD website- under maintance and enter you vin number# I think there was a recall or service bulliten on that issue.

None of you guys picked up and ran with this?  Exactly what gets jiggled? I'm dissapointed.

Some jigglin' is better left alone...............Next thing you know d00d will be throwing up the  :worthless: and we all know we don't need to see the jigglin'.  :huepfenlol2:
