On a side note the RK winshield reflects a boatload of noise right back at you.
When I switched to the batwing and lot of noise dimished.  Oh and the ipod blaring helps too   :P

I totally agree with you about the windshield.  I had just as much noise with my  my 07SE Springer.  My dilemma is why is it quiet when it's cold but then get louder as the bike warms up.  I would expect with the warm up the tolerances would become tighter as the metals expand with heat. And why does the intensity change from one moment to the next.  At times it's not so noisy a 2K rpm and a few moments later, it's back. Thanks for your input.

Saw the title of this thread and wanted to let everyone know that my top end is OK but I've got a real problem with bottom end noise.  Especially in the morning.  It's so bad some times that it'll clear a room.  Anyone know what I should do?

Oh yeah, the bike is fine....  :pepper: :jalapeno: :carrot:

that response baffles me.  Can gerbils be used as baffles?  Perhaps with enough pressure they can be used as projectiles instead.....

Response to a question posed earlier, whether adjustable push rods would help to reduce top end noise. Nope, been there tried that. >:(
